We are an award-winning family-run, fully insured landscaping company since 2011 with a proven track record based in Worcester! Providing top quality, premium services!
Just in the past few years, we have created 100+ new living spaces, barbeque areas, play areas, and useful spaces for our clients, family and friends! We have over 90+ 5-star testimonials/reviews across our sites on yell.com, Facebook and google!
My name is Gabor Gyurko, I am the owner of Garden Hoppers providing landscaping services in Worcester and surrounding areas!
I moved to England in 2004, the world was a bit different back then, I came for a one-year work placement from my catering school to gain experience as a chef and learn the language on the way! This is how and where I met my future wife; she was also doing her work placement at the same hotel (also Hungarian)! 😉
Once the work experience ended after spending some time back in Hungary we decided to come back to England!
Then we started attending English language courses alongside our full-time work, soon after I went onto NVQ level 2 then 3 in Professional Cookery and also completed an NVQ level 3 in Professional patisserie.
I completed my courses to the best of my knowledge, and because of dedication and hard work, I was able to complete these courses as one of the first students that year from all the classes!
Later on, for my studies I received a few awards: Advanced Apprenticeship in Professional cookery award 2008; Advanced Apprentice of the Year 2008; All around Craft student of the Year 2008.
I also completed a Kitchen Management Degree in 2010 alongside my full-time work.
Then we started to think of having a family of our own and I decided that catering life would take up too much of my family time working evenings and weekends. Then it came to my mind that I like to do something different so I can be with my family!
I slowly began to drift towards landscaping. My father was a builder/bricklayer by trade so I already had some skills under my belt, and I was always keen on doing this kind of work, so I started researching studying, reading, and never stopped learning.
Since then, I came a long way and I am a self-thought landscaper who takes pride in his work, with passion and dedication!
For me every day is an opportunity to learn something new from situations and from other people to be a better yourself tomorrow!;-))))

Gab and John accommodated all our requests consulting with us as they progressed. I changed my mind about a couple of things along the way. No fuss nothing too much effort Gab let me deviate from the initial quote. Both my husband and I Are extremely pleased with the high standard of workmanship and finish. Could not wish for 2 nicer people both Gab and John were polite, friendly, trustworthy and professional at all times. They take pride in their work and this is reflected in the workmanship.
